Within the Muir Isle Mutant Research Facility, Douglock works to gain access to the computer controls for the lab in which Dr. Moira MacTaggart and Rahne Sinclair are quarantined, working on a cure for the Legacy Virus. As he does so, he chats with Rahne via video cam, updating her on recent events involving the members of Excalibur. Doug describes how Piotr Rasputin and Meggan have struggled denying their mutual attraction at the expense of their friendship.Douglock then relates how Kurt Wagner tried to contact his erstwhile allies, the X-Men, in the States, only to have to converse, albeit briefly, with a very rude Marrow.Moira interrupts to ask Doug to adjust the temperature in the lab. Then he continues, explaining that Kitty Pryde and Pete Wisdom have split up due to Wisdom's inability to swallow his pride. As he speaks, Douglock convinces the computer that the Legacy Virus cure has been found and the quarantine can be broken. Rahne, rather than being relieved to get out, is furious with Douglock for ruining Moira's work.Elsewhere, Nightcrawler receives a call from Sabra in Israel requesting Excalibur's aid in facing a menace that may be Legion.On the island's dock, Wisdom chats with Meggan while awaits the ferry to Scotland. As he boards, Kitty watches from a window above.
